SUMMARY:
This morning at 5 am, Mifflin twp took calls reporting a fire. This was at 3296 Westerville road. 1 story comm'l bldg, well off. CFD Westerville, and Clinton all responded. Box 15 and the Columbus Auxiliary responded. Crews were in service around 8 am. This was a 2nd alarm fire.

Columbus Division of Fire Auxiliary History

The organization began as the Civil Defense Fire Auxiliary during World War II (1941-1945). In 1973 Chief Fadley mandated that the organization to be under the direct control of the Columbus Division of Fire. The Auxiliary is chartered by the City of Columbus 1929.01 establishing a constitution and by-laws form of government and all officers to be appointed by the direction of the Columbus Division of Fire. Currently the organization name is the Columbus, Ohio Division of Fire Auxiliary.
